You know this was probably a "prank" done by some dudes that really loved the original Dreamcast so much and saw all of it's untapped potential and thought it would be a waste to not capitalize on what it could have become. i think that sega needs to get off their lazy software asses and make a new system. sega apparently has lost a huge amount of money after the dreamcast(you can blame dreamcast for that, but dreamcast did make sega a MASSIVE amount of money) if they make a system with extreme graphics, with a huge amount of games with a relatively cheap price and has that must have game, sega would blow sony,microsoft, and nintendo out of the water. maybe if they team up with apple to make it itunes compatible

I agree that the odds of a dreamcast 2 coming out prolly isn't going to happen. But to argue with the 10/10/10 keep in mind that the NES was first out in japan in july of 83' and it didn't come to the states til october of 85'. then again with how advance the internet is I'm sure we would have heard about it by now if it ever exsits!

the thing is, some time ago microsoft bought the rights for the dreamcast or something like that and pretty much built the Xbox off it. so in some sense the dreamcast 2 is pretty much the Xbox.

I really don't think Sega would be stupid enough to go back to consoles... They already have their Sega Dreamcast & Genesis games coming to the PS3 and 360, and they're still making money off Sonic games by releasing them on all consoles... They wouldn't dare come back when it's Sony vs Microsoft vs Nintendo, especially seeing as PS3 sales are starting to pickup. Sega has absolutely nothing gamewise to be excited for, their mostly known for Sonic & Sonic got lame a long long time ago.
