@DassMorris yes,i believe Maureen's character is supposed to be more soprano and she's just a little bit lower than a soprano.so the music is lower as well.

@vengeanceofeden it's in the exact same key. Eden is most obviously a soprano. Sorry :P her voice actually sounds lower because she's taking less effort to sing in the upper part of an alto's range

I still tend to favor Idina over Eden, but no one can deny that Eden KILLS this. She is so committed to this role. I LOVE it.

I love the second she took before she sang "A Leap of Faith!". That shows (to me) that she was very serious about what she awas about to do. She wasn't only performing for her protest, she was performing for those hundreds of people watching and she was gonna make sure that they understood what she meant when she said A Leap of Faith and it was beautifully done. ^^

shaushausa I remember when I was on New Zealand and was invite by my a friend to join a theatre group. We produced TNER, a production of RENT changing all the genders. I was Mauro, and it was awesome to perferm this and Take Me Or Leave Me with my bass voice lol. It sucked, but it was sooooo cool \o/

hmm, I like the way Idina does it when she's rocking her head up and down. It makes her look crazier! It also shows that she is a really bad performer, which is how Maureen is supposed to be.

She makes a more non-sensical crazy Maureen than does Idina. Although Idina makes Maureen more free-spirited, but focused Maureen. I like Idina's body language better, but both do a really good job.
