....actually, quite informative and entertaining video. Just in case you play trumpet or another brass instrument, I think you might find some trumpet and brass tutorials quite intriguing over at YOURBRASSINSTRUCTOR's Channel.
The Tenor Sax players name was, or still is Daniel "Danny' Jordan. His brother's name is or was, Mathew "Matt" Jordan. They are or were from Orlando, Fl. / Maitland, Winter Park area {very close to Lake Howell} Matt Jordan was or still is a very tight drummer. Back then he played in Heavy Metal bands. They both are friends of mine. Danny Played Tenor for Maynard, even back then. {80s to early 90s} throughout Orlando and All around Florida. I hope they both are well and fine!!!
There is only one Denis DiBlasio - as a musician and as a great person!! Anyone who does not know Den should go out and get all his music - available at Dreambox Media out of Philadelphia. And scat! oh man oh man!

Judging by tour shirts and personnel, I'd say late summer or early fall 1982, no later than 83

No one in the world is better than Denis DiBlasio. And besides sax and wind instruments and scatting - as a person.

Few people if any can make the bari their bitch like DiBlasio can.

Jesus Christ, DiBlasio is a God.
I'm sorry but I think he even puts Maynard to shame on this one.

Hoby Freeman, Alan Wise also split with him as well.

I had the pleasure of going to a jazz camp w/this Denis in the faculty. Amazing, incredibly lyrical musician

Man, I love that scat solo! Loved the one on the 'Live from San Fransisco' album too. He scats like he plays his horn, full on!
