not necessarily, the girl is just more noticeable because her pitch is so much higher. bass is generally known as "background sound" no matter how loud it is. and because Bing sang it soooo very low in his famous rendition, its tradition for the guys to sing "background" for the song.

I think it's an adorable duet. I love his surprised reactions to her. He hadn't been married all that long when that was taped. He probably didn't quite know how to deal with all that hotness, being a responsible married man and all.
