  • This film has really cool camera work for a low budget horror film of the period. The camera moves around the house in a creepy fashion, almost ghostly, most moody. It is worth a look if you are into B&W cinematography.

  • Horror novel see video book trailer

  • Polly Ann Young sleeps in an unlocked bedroom, despite the murders.

  • The plot of Bela Lugosi's film "The Invisible Ghost" (1941), indeed is nonsensical. It's slapdash and piecemeal. But it does have Loretta Young's sister Polly Ann in it. Her appearance redeems the film. One must appreciate her beauty and grace and question not as to why her character sleeps in an unlocked bedroom, especially in light of several recent strangulations in the mansion. I rate this film 2 thumbs horizontal (relative to their position when strangling someone).

  • Cool movie. The acting wasn't bad at all.

  • One of my favorite movies of all time :)

  • Bela Lugosi was the best.

  • Thanks os much for this post

  • This is one of Bela Lugosi'S most unknown films but the way it was made is fantastic. Definately one of my favourite Lugosi films. Worth watching at night if you're into old horror films.
