eh, it's okay. I like mark crilly's drawing but drawings from his manga arn't my favorites. Your drawing is probably as good as in the manga but i'm really not fond of the art in the manga.

Nope I just had Mark's DA page up on my laptop, & Miki Falls: Spring, next to me as references. I despise tracing. I always stress to people that tracing is not a real skill, & it won't help you much. Always draw freehand with maybe a visual reference to give you ideas, otherwise you;ll never develop the basic line skills needed to become a decent artist. ^_^ Thanks for the compliment.

You'll be better than me in no time. I didn't start drawing manga until I was about your age, Maybe a little older. Study some of the older masterpieces mangas out there, like Ghost in The Shell, Akira, Inuyasha, Bastard, Etc. Practice the hard stuff, hands, feet, proportions, etc.Though their expensive, the How to Draw Manga Books are AWESOME! I have almost the whole series. If u can't afford them just take your drawing stuff to the book store. Most employees don't care how long u stay.

Yeah, I've been studying mainly the art style of InuYasha, Ghost in the Shell, Death Note, Ah! My Goddess, Bleach, and Sailor Moon. I like the technigques used in those shows.

I love all those shows. Death Note is one of the best shows EVER, & I don't just mean anime, I mean EVER. LOL. Great shows to study too. Oh, seriously though, watch Akira, Steam Boy, & Spirited Away. They're all a very unique style that every aspiring manga artist should learn. DBZ is no good though. Any clown can draw Dragon Ball characters, they were meant to be easy. Also check out Blood The Last Vampire,then watch Blood Plus, same character, different stories, different art, lots to learn.

Actually yes, I am. I had a friend in high school who went to comicon every year with her portfolio, showing it to every publisher there. It never did get her an immediate hire, but she eventually got picked up by a small publisher, then ended up working for Dark Horse later. So I plan to put together a short one shot story to show folks at all the anime conventions this year. Got a good idea, & the talent so I'm gonna record me making it all work in a matter of only months, just like Mark does.

Thank ya much. The greatest geniuses, & psychopaths throughout the ages were lefties. I find it to be a pain often though because I'm a heavy handed artist so I often smear crap when working with traditional mediums. Thank goodness for Wacom, the saviors of lazy heavy handed lefty artists. No more smearing graphite etc. all over the damn place! LOL.

Prodigy was, is, & will be the standard setting group for the progression of the electronic music genre as a whole. Oh, I know exactly what ya mean! It was hard as heck to draw in some one else's style. Usually I draw in a very hard lined style. My original characters are very much inspired by such works as Outlaw Star, Bleach, and Ghost In The Shell. Very hard lined, wide mouthes, often times gritty & hard lined as well. Copying an artist like Mark Crilley was quite a challenge for me! Thanx for the comment, glad you approve. ^_^
