i got both. traxxas e-maxx and savage xss. i would say the savage is nearly undestroyable. i made jumps about 3 m high and nothing broke. the emaxx wasnt as hard as the savage and its much harder to change the parts. i love both cars, but the savage more. :D

Loved it when people bought T-maxx's, as it was instant parts replacement and upgrades sales.
In every way shape and form the savage is much more durable and reliable. You need to replace the servos with HTMG, metal spur, 4 way gears for the diffs and get the cam type steering kit. Tmaxx needs that plus an engine and much more to get it almost as reliable, but its still a stupid pan chassis design.
@Minrathicus Also the Tmaxx cannot do everything the Savage can do and better. Granted its a better race platform because of weight and low CG, but because of the design its weak. The savage is built more like a real monster truck, the clearance is better and its much more torque available to pull outa bad situations.
I will not take away the Traxxas design for get and go, but it I wanted an over sized truggy, I would just get a Losi and add some large tires and eat a t-maxx for lunch.

hpi is good but look on ebay and but in gv cage brush less or motor brushlees does about 70mhp and motor 60/65mph i get one of them telling you best car i have ever got it would piss all over hpi and traxxas put to gether but hpi would be doing most of the work because it is better the traxxas

Any engine can do this, heating it up then letting it cool down naturally wont have any effect at all and as this vid proves, will run afterwards. Yes the car is wrecked but the engine is sound. Also whats with the brand wars? Yes some brands may be better than others, but most are just as good as each other. I myself like Hong Nor and Traxxas, both manufacturers build excellent cars and Iv'e never had a problem with either my X1 CR or any traxxas model I've owned.

these motors will smoke more or less depending on your needle settings. This is real, the motor is running a bit lean thus results in almost no smoke. If u run these motors lean, there will be no smoke cold or not buddy.........

if you all were observant at all you would know it is sitting on an outboard vent which leads to outside so the exhaust dosnt kill you...most garages have them, that one is for spraypainting but will still work with the exhaust from the truck, the reason you dont see the exhaust is because you all are stupid and didnt think that the exhaust could be pulled through a vent.

Well after you cook things you usually eat it... And there is no doubt that the engine still runs, you could through the engine in a fire and it will still run perfectly if you clean it up before you run it. Remember its made out of steal and aluminum so as long is the engine doesn't reach melting point you should be fine.

well maby not the engine is maby been taken out and cleaned up and anyways its all steel castiron n shit so i wold surevive extreme heat exept the carb and o-rings will melt.

Well after you cook things you usually eat it... And there is no doubt that the engine still runs, you could through the engine in a fire and it will still run perfectly if you clean it up before you run it. Remember its made out of steal and aluminum so as long is the engine doesn't reach melting point you should be fine.
