I feel very sorry for Slimer in this episode.I know Peter loves Slimer really but I think he should act like it rather than pretending he doesn't care. That's quite selfish.

Sometimes you could understand why Lorenzo Music's Peter Venkman would get mad at Slimer but poor Slimer was a ghost trying to live in a human world.I noticed Dave Coulier's Peter Venkman never picked on Slimer or insulted him he was tolerant that Slimer could sneeze all over him and he doesn't freak out.There is Dave Coulier version of this same episode.Some of these episodes were redubbed with Dave's voice.Dave doesn't come over real well trying to be Lorenzo.When L.M. left it changed alot.

Yes look it up on Real Ghostbusters episode guide.Or look up Spook Central Real Ghostbuster episode "Slimer Come Home!" Too bad it doesn't have the entire episode of Dave's voice or Lorenzo's voice so you can really compare their 2 different styles of delivery.I think Lorenzo was better at teasing Slimer and freaking out over Slimer then Dave.Dave is funny in his own way just as long as he isn't trying to be Lorenzo Music.Dave certainly didn't kill the Real Ghostbusters series.

@mr10tomidnight I think Dave Coulier was trying more than anything to do some sort of "kid-friendly" interpretation of Bill Murray, more than trying to strive for any kind of continuity with what Lorenzo Music sounded/acted like. He just ultimately comes off like a douchebag, though.

Yeah I know. Peter also became more serious than sarcastic when they went further into season 3 and 4.By season 4, Slimer was his best friend and almost like a pokemon-type Pikachu sidekick and Peter was relatively kind to him, no longer cold towards him. Then the later seasons were less dark and more kiddie friendly. But overall, a brilliant show!

I have a brother with down-syndrome and he wrecked my g/f's bday party kinda like Slimer wrecked Winston's only my bro knocked over the cake rather than swallowing it whole.
