Two things the Newell Shredder can't handle very well is seat springs and gasoline tanks! The gas tanks explode and the seat springs get tangled up in the machinery. So the seats and gas tanks have to be removed before shredding. A gallon can of gas in the trunk has been known to shut down the entire machine.

nah, you can blow a gas tank or a propane tank, you just have to flood the system to put out any fires.

@JGMagoo I think rebar in any shredder is a bad combo as well. I see similar shredders at steel mills in Texas
