Ok heres how it's done, the game dynamically copies Links stats and assigns them to Dark link so if Link enters the actor with that amount of light they will both be assigned the same amount of health, meaning Dark link will die instantly when hit but you would as well too.

I beat him using Quick Spins after I back him up into a corner then turned around then repeat. It took a bit but I took like 2 hits max plus he just was being stupid by backfliping into the wall. (Weird but true.)

wait..., if the"no targeting" thing is false, how come every time i swung my sword with targeting, it got blocked, but without targeting, every swing hit him? It's obviously not a myth. And before you say it was all in my head, I didn't look up how to beat him, I had trial and error.

@Nintendogizmo Because if you change the slash direction everytime, which you can do a lot easier when you Trigger Z to lock your camera, you can do the same things like the no targeting method and on the other hand, at this way you can just fight him with out using glitches or any items but the Master Sword, even if you are just in front of him like in the video. A videoresponse shows you can even 1 hit KO Dark Link by using the jump slash attack by targeting.

The no targeting method is not a myth.

Hit dark link once, then wait for him to respawn behind you. Without targeting him, simply turn around and slash vertically. He will /never/ dodge this attack.

@VoxNyx Of course it is, the classic method where you slash randomly around him with out focus in front of him is one, because to believe it does randomly give you an advantage not to target dark link is wrong. The method still makes the difference. You are telling another method which is still working even if you focus/target/lock your camera just behind you and on the other hand there are other methods in the other video like the jump slash 1 hitkill(videoresponse is in the video).

Still, you did have an extreme amount of life spawn in regardless, and you did indeed activate a health cheat via hotkey command mid game.

Actually, if you use a targeted thrust attack with the Biggoron sword, it hits him everytime. Its not a one hit kill, but it still makes fighting him much easier.

The secret to beating him easily is to not lock on to him. Just attack without targeting him and he will not try to block or avoid your attacks. What your doing in this video is unnecessary.

I am not used to have cheats for playthroughs and my second video which is linked in the video is done with out cheats to show my best method to 1 hit kill Dark Link even with out any glitches and bugs.

So the Biggorrn would do 3 hearts so having only 3 Hear containers would mean a 1HKO.

And if you had the base you could ahve at that point (8 w/o Pieces of hearts or skipping dunegons) it would take 3 hits w/ the Biggoron.

And at the same time, the MS deals 1 Heart per hit. Thanks for making this video explaining how DL works ^_^

@Dar3dmag3 No problem at all, i hope you enjoyed the video. There is just one thing to make clear, the Biggoron Sword can 1HKO even with 4 hearts. Your Master Sword does deal 1 heart per hit and 2 with the jump slash attack.^^ The Biggoron Sword is twice as strong as the Master Sword, so its basic hit are 2 hearts and his strongest are 4 hearts by using the jump slash attack. At last but not at least, Dark Link is only half as strong as you. :) well then have a nice day.
