@PseudomortalityR1 Oh if you call in an emergency situation OSHA will come right down without warning for surprise inspections. When I was working at Sears I had them do that sense it was my manager who was doing most of the stupid stuff like jumping on racks and things like that, I was literally the Only person there who didn't either get fined or fired on the spot. I eventually quit because Sears doesn't pay its works hardly anything and they treat you like crap.

So your saying that just because a person who is in charge does something stupid, that it paves the way for everyone else? That seems more than a little reckless, and well stupid. This is why I'm a huge fan of OSHA doing more surprise inspections.

@chucknorrisgawd Partially yes, it is to cover their own ass like you said, but the main reason for the laws are to protect people from idiots like this. I agree fully with the laws as well, if your stupid enough to do something like this, you deserve to have a few tons of metal shelving land on top of you. The laws are in place also so if some dumb ass like this gets the urge to jump from loading dock to loading dock and gets hurt, then he can't try to sue them.
