sweet man!! this helped soo much! i didnt do it like this though, the other videos the links were different, the first worked fine (Format Factory) but the second didnt! (WG Screensaver Creator) so i used the .sfw file from format factory and went with the second program in this video (instantstorm) and went from there i had already did the keep vid thing even though it was not explained in the other videos. thanks man!

@sidneywatts42 it will probably not, so just set your settings to black background, just so all attention is directed at the video, and not the background :)

Just tried on windows 7. Works great but the quality is not the best so make sure you get a good converter for the flash file. Thanks Nibberz86.

Hi Nibberz86, I went to KeepVid as you instructed, entered the link I wanted, clicked Download, and a dialog box appeared saying that the KeepVid Applet' digital signature could not be verified. Did this happen to you when you first went through this? I am happy to see there is a way to create the screensavers of my choice, but I don't want to jack up my computer in the process. Let me know the deal please.

Hey mummmbleswers,  I found a video called downloading youtube videos and converting them to screensavers using freeware appplications by jonnyfartypantscom. It worked great.
