it probably doesn't matter if you buff them since she put the rhinestones. So really you wouldn't be feeling the nail's roughness. or that's my guess anyway :p cuz I use a buffer too

its called a silk wrap....

it was really big in the 90s....

I more meant the style of the nail art, with the decals and stuff, not the type of nails. I get sculpted nails all the time when I go to the salon to get my nails done.

And actually, this is called "Sculptured" nails, I didn't see her using layers of silk and glue over a natural nail (silk wrap), I saw her using sculpture forms and acrylic.

If you mean the silver and blue forms on the end of her nails, they are sticky and stick to the skin quite securely.

Hi douga2007, so glad you took care of that situation. Im also a nail tech, its been 9 years and i sill love it like the first day :). As nail techs we need to be verry carefull with the clients and also with ourselves. By thy way the nails look beautifull.
