Im really thinking about gettin this cat back system but worried about the fart can affect, it sounds so nice on the comp .....does it sound anything like a honda fart can in person...i my self have a 07 ss sc cobalt....just dont wanna waste the money on shit stuff

@21davidad I really enjoyed this exhaust when I had this car. In person it has a really deep sound, I like a loud exhaust. If you're looking for something that's not too loud then this one isn't for you. I got a lot of compliments on the sound when I had it.

@21davidad when this video was recorded the only mods was the exhaust. Everything else stock.

I think their pipes are nice but they needed to have a chamber style muffler instead of the fart cannon. Sounds kinda hondaish.

@RatzSSSC . This video is OLD... I don't own a cobalt anymore, but at the time i posted this video the car was stock besides the exhaust. Later i added cold air intake, and GM stage 2.

i have a 06 ss/sc stock besides the airbox mod. would you still be able to hear the sc whine over the exhaust note? im looking to get a better sound than stock but not ricey and still be able to hear the my sc whine.

I couldnt tell you if there's a performance loss with the silencer on, i've never had it on. It's VERY simple to take off!

forgive me for my ignorance but am new to this tuner stuff i have recently bought a ss/sc and i like the sound the megan exhaust makes...now heres my question...the full cat back exhaust system is it from the cat back or will it replace the cat. the only reason i ask this is because of emissions and is there a way around this problem?...

Its from the down pipe back. as far as emissions it should pass all states, even california.

sounds good man, my friend has a ss/sc with stage 2 with a 2.7 pulley, and an aem dryflow filter, and 2.5 from the cat back, with no resinator into a matrix muffler, it sounds great, nice job

stock the supercharger is not that loud. the exhaust kinda blocks out the sound of it. this is an old vid, i have more stuff done to the car now, and the supercharger is MUCH louder now.
