  • That scene... was so beautiful :''(

  • sounds like something out of a pokemon movie

  • Skeksis and Pikachu's first love.

  • dot.dot.dot.dot.dot.

  • CRYING A RIVER!!!! ='(

  • Why do I cry everytime I hear this?

  • ¯◡◡¯

  • first part sounds sort of like roxas' theme from kingdom hearts, both are good songs

  • Must... not... cry... you cannot... make... me cry...

NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I BELIEVE IN SANTA CHRIST!

Seriously though, such a beautiful theme. I love every single thing about it. Oh, I want this theme at my funeral or something.

  • Kanata would have been a gr8 mother.

She was a beautiful, innocent, and sweet woman with good intentions.

She fit perfectly into Soujiro's (the dad) life. They had each other

... No one could ever love Kanata...as much as he did.

    ...

    and she's there...proud.

  • Can I Ask What Episode Song Is This? :\

  • @LouisValler Episode 22. The most beautiful episode of the anime...

  • This makes me teary eyed and happy at the same time. Lucky Star was a piece of magic in an otherwise un-tremendous time in my life. The memories of enjoying this show are constantly with me.

  • I wish I could find a man that would love me just like how Konata's dad loved Kanata ; U ;

"He always brought out the best and the worst in me...

And he was able to show me his best and worst...

The one place...where I feel most at ease..."

  • How ironic. The music of one of the most touching, emotional part of the entire show is the one that hosts all the flame wars in its comments.

Anyway, is anyone else reminded of Mother 3? How, even though the mother has passed away, she is still loved by her husband and child, and still watches over them.

  • @jigglykirby Come to think of it, you're right.

Hinawa always looked over Lucas, Claus and Flint after she passed away and in Chapter 6, she wanted Lucas to keep going, no matter what. Even though our loved ones may be not around anymore, they'll always look over us.

I wonder if any of my family's looking over me now. If they are, I kind of hope that they know I'm doing OK, even though I never knew 3 of them and only heard of 2, who both hung on for as long as they could.

  • could someone explane please this song wasnt in the english vershion well i mean this ep

  • Dear the people who are trolling in the comments below: SCREW YOU! This section is for people commenting in the song, not for you to slag each other off.

  • The Kanata Episode was filler, (Read rest before you flame.) the episode wasn't needed, but it was a good episode. Touching, and all though not needed, so very wanted by all of the Konata fans that asked "Where is Konata's mom, Kanata?" or, if they knew she was dead, "Why?" May the episode this song belongs to live forever. Thumb up if you agree that this will always be important.

  • @SorrowfullLaharl Filler? None of the episodes had any structure. How can an episode be considered pointless on a show with no plot?

  • @uncut7007 Good point.

  • esta genial gracias por este y todos los demas videos

  • America needs to have cartoons with touching, beautiful moments

  • well 4kids is american, so any anime going through 4kids is "americanized" aka suckified.

  • @ri394 i Totally agree!

  • I prefer Anime over Cartoons :o

  • I don't remember this song :O It's beautiful though

  • jsaeten beiber

  • @JanerNake420 Why don't you shut the fuck up, take your bieberfaggotry nonsense, shove it firmly back up your ass where it belongs, and GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM LUCKY STAR ALREADY?

  • @Clarinerd617 Comments like that are much more annoying than people simply saying somebodies name.

Bro, Justin Beiber hasn't negativeley affected you in any way yet has he? Has the guy you just raged on?

    I doubt it.

God this musics got me up on my high horse. Nevermind.

  • @willfox12345 I agree with the first sentence. I was having a bad day.

He/she/it HAS already negatively affected my life. The guy I just raged on also negatively affected my life by reminding me of that thing.

  • @Clarinerd617 Hey thats cool, no worries bro.

  • Kanata has good intuition...

    Mabye it was fate...

Even though i failed as a human being...

But theres one thing i'm absolutely sure of....

(One thing you're absolutely sure of? What is it?)

I was the one that loved Kanata most in this world

  • @yihanglee Soujiro is a boss.

  • "There was one thing I was sure of...No one could ever love Kanata as much as I did..."

  • Kanata: WHAT ARE YOU TEACHING OUR DAUGHTER?!

  • Isn't the picture from the episode when Kotana was like "Staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.... ahh.... sssssssssssssstttttttttttttaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Ok, what's up Kagami?"

  • @parodymanstudios15 Yep. The longest stare of all time.

  • @GoldSilverandCrystal the funny thing is that her eyes are closed... how can she stare?

  • @parodymanstudios15 Because she's that good XD

  • @parodymanstudios15 The magic of anime. c:

  • After I die, when people remember me... a guy with a radio will come in and play this song. That guy is an angel. That angel is me.

  • Such a sad and beautiful song

  • Sounds like something out of Earthbound. Awesome.

  • @MurexMuris *wah wah fap fap wah wah fap fap*...sure it works.

  • @MurexMuris all I here is this weird fapping sound.

  • The pic doesn't fit at all! xD

  • Omg, This makes me cry

  • I cant help crying to this song T^T I almost never cry......... I always listen to it when I feel melancholic..... or suicidal.. *tough childhood still going on anime is the only thing important to me*

  • @SpinShockAzzy dont feel bad for me I hate that!!

  • ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • I watch episode 22 on Valentines Day every year for personal reasons.

  • *Cries*

  • This song reminds of after it rains and the sun peeks out to see us again. I walk outside to see the one boy I have a crush on and I confess to him. And we kiss underneath the sun that has just peeked out to see us again. Tears flow down my face as we embrace.

THIS IS MY FANTASY BTW. HE'LL NEVER LIKE ME THAT WAY, BUT IT COULDN'T HELP TO FANTASIZE A LITTLE... :)

That episode made me cry so much.. TT~TT

  • 自然と涙がでる

  • *Kanata visits some time again later*

"Man... Sou-kun, It's been 2 years since last visit, and you still have'nt changed one bit.*Giggle*"

    *Botan flies from behind*

    "'Ya ready ta' go now?"

Kanata: "Yeah, Can I come back?"

Botan:"Koenma says once every two years!"

*Kanata sits on Botan's oar and flies off back to heaven*

    Rest in peace, Kanata Izumi

  • "That's it. You can't match that..."

  • if you want more lucky star, read the manga. There are two more new characters making their appeareance.

  • @gino14 Oops... im REALLY sorry, did I say two? nope! I meant FIVE! FIVE NEW CHARACTERS!

  • Sounds a little like Super Mario Galaxy 2 or kinda like a Pokémon Game.. Or no! ENDLESS OCEAN!

  • @shaunlimhy URE RIGHT :x I thought that 2 o-O

  • I cried during all the episode. It's too sad...

    We always miss you, Kanata...

  • This episode, out of all thye Lucky Star episodes made, is my favorite. It was the first time I had ever cried during a comedy anime. It was so touching. So moving. So soulful... "I was the one man in the whole world who loved Kanata the most", and then the backflash montage kicks in. That was a scene that will always stay in my heart as one of the greatest scenes in all of the anime I've ever seen, if not THE best.

Rest in peace, Kanata. We all love you.

  • 2:29 "...I was the one who love Kanata the most in this world."

  • It sounds a bit like Kiki's Delivery Service around 0:16 O_o

  • I almost cried during this episode.

  • Sounded like Silent hill theme box in the beginning ^^

  • Holy shit great music for being a anime :O

  • Kanata was such a cute and beautiful addition to put in towards the end when she realises that Konata and her father are having a great time together and that she will always be there for them... im feel like im going to weep... its so emotional plus its ep 21

  • *cough* 22

  • This is a great song. Kanata and Konata are beautiful

  • Moving song with a funny picture....

    "Staaaaaaaaaarrrrreeeeeee....."

    Yea...Ok, Kagamin.

  • They should have mad eher a ghost character throughout the show or something...she's funny and sweet and would have been a gr8 addition to the cast.

  • Three months later and this song still makes me cry...it's so beautiful. And people say cartoons have no soul anymore.

  • actually, most cartoons/anime have no soul. like south park. no soul at all, just there for the money. the makers of lucky star put such emotion in the anime and music that it made it famous.

  • Comment removed

  • there ya go.

  • ok so tell me what moral is there in ed edd & eddy (i know it's a good show shame it was cancled D:) and same with futurama.

  • i love futurama but honestly Ed, Edd & Eddy lost its humor and my interest a LONG time ago unlike most anime which i love ^^

  • yup, we are.

  • most american cartoons have no soul(Ed edd n eddy too, but that is not the point...)

It is like you are implying that things have to have soul to be good. Ed edd n eddy was a great show...

  • You dont kno what soul is .

Soul is the thing tht makes ppl around u like u, & laugh, & enjoy themselves .

We all have different tastes in cartoons,

but at the end of the day, no matter what we watch it takes the same effect .

    Satisfaction .

  • youi know i'm just kidding right if someone had no soul they would be a shell with nothing to make it move or motivate it so before you tell someone they don't know something make sure they really ment what they said >.>

  • Motion seconded, my friend...

  • Avatar had a lot of soul IMO. O.o

  • @0odarkheroo0 >implying 4kids makes the anime when all they do is dub and Americanize it. Oh, you so crazy.

  • @piemaster546 what I mean is like, 4kids is like an ugly succubus that takes the soul and life of an anime (the people that made it being it's blood, organs etc.) they make it seem like the original people threw it together because they found good pictures...

  • @piemaster546 Ahhh but the dubbing and Americanizing is what makes it so bad. (Americanizing=ruining)

  • @0odarkheroo0 Okay, so I hope you are not counting the massive wave of moeshit/fanservice anime that happened after Lucky Star ruined the industry.

I'm not hating on Lucky Star, I'm just saying that it's mere presence (as well as it's big sister Haruhi) has changed the anime industry in a way that caters towards thinly disguised fetish pornography rather than substantiative content. Look at K-On! or hell, just wait for the next chartfag release. (Unless Toyko's govt. broke the industry again.)

  • @0odarkheroo0 haha that kinda reflects each society as well...

    (no hate, yo)

  • @0odarkheroo0 The only difference is the art style, though. The word anime means no less than the art movements they are drawn in, for they are both cartoons in their own way. I just think that the Japanese creators have a different have different ideas of entertainment. Putting "Anime" and "Cartoons" as ceartin genres like "Comedy" and "Drama" is a misusage of the labels. They're there for the art, not description. Just sayin', not hatin' c:

  • @Sdfckz anime and cartoons are put into genre's, just America ruins it *cough* 4chan *cough*, the genre for "anime" is made to be a broader term which would mean it is technically a misuse of the word. Cartoons are there for the money, Anime is there for the art... ok and the money, but mostly the art... and money... and the chicks...

  • @0odarkheroo0

Although that might be true about what's popular and airing right now in America, I'm going to have to disagree with you. Like manga, American graphic novels have a wide range of genres, not just the superhero and kid stuff that airs on TV. If you are talking about English Dubs, they are just trying to spread the love to those who can't speak Japanese or suffer from seizures if they look at too many things at once. No, they won't be as good as the originals, but how could they?

  • @0odarkheroo0 "Cartoons are there for the money, Anime is there for the art"

Except anime is a type of cartoon, no matter how much weaboos try to say otherwise. There's about as much anime that's in it only to cash into some fad or to be a clone of a much more successful franchise than there is for American cartoons.

  • @0odarkheroo0 Nice generalizing there. I'm sure the likes of Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry, Pink Panther, and a slew of other American cartoons have no soul only because they weren't made by Asians.

Jesus Christ can it get any more otaku in here?

  • @Scrinoverlord lol... those shows have no souls because they have no souls. It has nothing to do with asians. You just listed a bunch of shows that are really really boring and immature and impossible for anyone over 10 to sit through. There are anime like that too, and there are western animations that are decent, but if you can't admit there's a general trend toward anime being more meaningful, you're either delusional or trolling. Mickey Mouse isn't Death Note, and Pink Panther isn't Eva lmao

  • @mikeweedmark Define a show having a "soul". They have to be "meaningful"? That's a very broad word, and therefore an inaccurate one, to describe entire multi-faceted genres.

Also, you're an idiot if you think only 10 year olds can't enjoy those classics and even more of a dunce if you think a lot of people think they're "boring". You're of a tiny minority, ie otaku, I'm afraid.

You're stating the obvious. Yes, Mickey Mouse isn't Death Note. How does that make it less entertaining?

  • @Scrinoverlord Because it's Mickey Mouse dude. You're trying to act like an intellectual by tiptoeing around the overwhelming hard evidence that no one who's graduated from elementary school would waste half an hour of their afternoon sitting in front of any of the shows you listed if they had ANYTHING else to do. I'm a dunce for thinking a lot of people think _MICKEY MOUSE_ is boring? You're a fucking delusional jackass if you think they don't, lmfao.

  • @mikeweedmark What hard evidence? What statistic do you have that shows people do not like old cartoon classics or think it's boring? None?

Not only are you a narrow minded otaku, you're a hypocrite for calling me delusional. Kudos bro.

  • Replace Death Note with Lost and Eva with 24 and get off that strange Otaku label you're trying to push on everyone. Pink Panther still isn't a tenth as meaningful or entertaining as either of those western shows, and I don't even like them. Read the comment LittleSheikah made for some better examples of decent Western animation and take note, because your point that people are only impressed by a show's Asianness is pretty weak if all your examples are baby bottle crap like Pink Panther.

  • @mikeweedmark Congrats, you've again shown typical otaku narrow mindedness since you honestly believe Pink Panther is only for little children. There isn't really much to discuss here at this point is there, if you're so blatantly against Western animation simply because it's not made from your Sacred Utopia of Nippon.

  • @0odarkheroo0 Not wanting to argue with you, but some cartoons do have soul. Example Pixar animations like Wall-E, Toy Storys, and Finding Nemo. Family guy sometimes have emotional times even though they have racist jokes, random funny stuff, or jokes. Not all American cartoons have no souls. :/ And also I'm a hardcore otaku fan.

  • @HcOtaku1337 What about ToraDora? I don't think Lucky Star had a lot of emotional parts to it. It's just your average slice of life series with a crapload of anime references. Maybe the occasional "aww". Don't get me wrong, I love LS, but how is there much tearjerking emotion in it?

  • @KeroDono You have a good point, but I don't know how to give you a straight answer. All I can say is, Lucky Star is all about all the simple things in life that we take for granted.Like for example, a lazy day at the beach with your friends. At the time it means nothing, but looking back at your easy-going memories you think "I miss those days." Which is the message Lucky Star is trying to teach you.

well, honestly I don't really know myself, but that's just how I see it.

  • @HcOtaku1337 Well, you have a good argument going on here. I guess it's just me. I don't see it. Maybe since I'm young. REALLY young.

  • @HcOtaku1337 LOL, South park has no soul? Wtf? It's a satire cartoon (and not even an anime)! There's much more important and much more emotional cartoons out there than this one, too.

I wouldn't say the music made if famous either. You're talking shit.

  • @XxDatBlonde1xX

    You're talking shit.

You obviously don't see what I'm trying to say here,

It's really no use trying to explain to a blonde.

  • @HcOtaku1337 Lol. Over reaction much?

I obviously don't know what you're trying to say here? Apparently you were trying to say satire cartoons have no soul (they're not supposed to) and that south park was and anime (which it isn't, maybe you hadn't intended it to sound that way). And then you tried to say that this music is what made Lucky Star famous?Eh...no.

And this is something emotional that you're trying to describe. How exactly would a blonde not understand that?YOU'RE talking shit.

  • @XxDatBlonde1xX

a satire cartoon is still a cartoon.

an anime is basically a Japanese cartoon.

    BOTH ARE CARTOONS.

so even though one is satire and one is not, they can both be categorized as the same thing.

and I didn't say that it was just the music that made lucky star famous, I said it was the emotion and music too.

  • @HcOtaku1337

that are completly different genres, supposed to trigger different emotions. southpark, in its social-critical and sarcastic way, is good in what it does, too. I also think that lucky star > southpark, but i wouldnt say that it doesnt have a soul....

  • don't worrie people that say that have no soul themselfs :D

  • This song is also called Shiawase Negai Kanata Kara. You should watch the keyboard version of this song played by TheIshter. It's very touching and beautiful.

  • Was this song played in the actual show? I don't remember it.

  • what episode did this song first appeared in?

  • or ep 22...the saddest episode ever!!!

  • i dont think it has the full version... let me check...

  • the one where konatas moms ghost comes backto the house and they freak out over the picture

  • Episode 22. Prepare the Kleenex.

  • staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrree...XD LOLZ!

The song's pretty sad, but the picture is entertaining. ^ ^ 5/5

  • wow I love this....it brings up so many good memories for me....

  • This might be the best song in all of Lucky Star.

  • yea, i assume it would be...if i can just remember what episode this song first appeared in...lol

  • Episode 21 or 22 I forget, but it's when Kanata shows up, and watches over Konata for one day.

  • oh..alright

    thanks

  • No problem. ^^

  • it sounds so soothing and sad. Thats what makes it truly a beautiful peice.

  • Who want mp3? Me have. If you want it, send me a message.

  • really good, makes me wanna cry every time I listen to it

  • dude...

this song is the best from lucky star!

    arigatou 4 posting!!

Which of course is a good thing. x3

  • it's such a moving song

  • gawd this is such a sad song :(
