I, personally, do not think "pork and beans" is a good song because the lyrics are poor and the bridge is awful. The main riff is alright, but not enough, in my opinion, to make the song good all on its own. The reason I made my initial comment was not necessarily because I think "pork and beans" is the worst song in the world, but more due to how it measures up to top-notch Weezer. If you compare it to a great song by the band, it falls far short of being considered their "good stuff."

The record company wanted weezer to try a new vibe, Rivers got pissed at first but then when he tried it, he cane up with some good stuff like Pork and Beans.

Personally I like his music back when he did stuff like El Scorcho, Budy Holly, and Keep Fishin... I loved weezer in that point of time, but I am a loyal fan none the less and thier new albuim is pretty good.
