Technically you can't spell "cougs" wrong because it's a nick name. I don't think it would be very logical to argue that UW can't spell. UW is a university, an inanimate object, and therefore does not have the capability to write. You may say that a UW fan can't spell, but let's face it in general University of Washington students, alumni and fans are more intelligent.

What has WSU done? NOTHING - they are still the same shit program they always had been and now UW has sunk to their level temporarily. If there was any time in history that WSU could have taken over it was the past 5 years. Too bad, you guys will always be UW's little brother.
I'm not entirely sure what your trying to say here. Over the last 5 years WSU has beaten the UW 4 times. Every year for the last 7 years WSU has finished with a better record than the UW. That is not exactly "nothing" and could possibly be interpreted as "taking over". WSU is not a dominant PAC10 power at the moment but they are wiping the floor with the fuskies.
The goal is to win bowl games, and the Apple Cup is like the cherry on top. I'm not denying UW has sucked balls the past year but that is because football hasn't been a priority for key head figures here. Despite all our screw ups, WSU has consistently remained one of the worst teams in the Pac 10 (along with UW). When I say "take over"... I am talking in terms of recruiting and bowl victories.
