I have Top Spin 3 and Virtua Tennis 2009, for me, Top Spin wins! Cause he simulates a real tennis match, with cool moviments, great for a good motor coordination, and is very good to play with friends (on-line or multiplayer). Virtua Tennis have some moviments glitchs, and is to easy to play, looks like a arcade game. How about the graphics, I say Draw. Thats my opniom. Sorry for my badass english, I'm brazillian.

@igorabf true topspin is better but the best topspin of all time is topspin 2 for sure. Idk why but the physics seem to be better. I just dont seem to understand the timing of when to hit the ball in topspin 3. Any advice?

@LuisMVillena I never played TS2, but someday i will XD. And so, VT is to much arcade for me, turning it easy. Top Spin 3 is to much hard hitting the ball on the correct time, and more, you have to know what movement to do and on the correct time. Just practice, practice and practice, and you will see a better results on your control skills (Srry bad english)

I'm going to be honest, Sega set the bar waaay high with Tennis2k for dreamcast. That has to be the perfect tennis game as far as gameplay. The graphics improved on VT3 but the gameplay is just waay too stiff for me. It flowed WAY better in the VT2 imo. The men line up is hot, but they took Serena out (big no no!). Also in Tennis2K there is a noticable difference in the way each player plays...I didnt get that too much with VT3. Segar hire back the producers of Tennis2k and fix this ASAP! LOL

This Game iz shit 4 these reasons

1. The players all look like they have kind of skin disorder, which makes them look like Zombies.

2. The players all run too fast like headless chickens, so the only way 2 score a point iz up at da net.

3. The World tour is Pointless and Tacky. And takes forever to get anywhere.

4. It doez not have proper Licensing so all the courtz have stupid names and look unrealistic.

5. Very Hard 2 make errors and the computer iz Flawless wich iz unrealistic

there's the differances between INSTANT and just FAST...the gameplay in VT2009 looks INSTANT, which is in all cases wrong (whatever it is fun, or realism...doesnt metter)...

...i'd even describe gameplay in VT2009 as something that is speed up two-three times in motion...

virtua tennis is not realistic to a real game of tennis, for sure! topspin is more realistic but less fluent. Virtua tennis is the more fun of the games and online is more competetive and challenging then you may think, online makes you see and learn shots from others which have mastered the games engine

...also i wouldnt even say that top spin 3 is much of realistic...not even close to that...ball doesnt rebound LIKE THAT (it seems like players are on the moon, when you play this gaem...)...also rebound almost doesnt depend on surface...ball flying speed is also slow and wrong...ho can you call that realistic ? ...i play tennis in real life and its even not 50 looks like that ! ...

i'd rather say ...in real life its not that redicilously slow like in Top Spin 3, but the same time its not that redicilously fast (i'd even say instant) like in VT2009!...something in between would make a justice (realism wise)...best and the most realistic game as of yet is Smash Court Tennis 3...i said that in another video posts related to VT2009 and other tennis games...and i say it here !

I'll give you some advice, I haven't got it yet, but I play real tennis, either stay on the baseline or come into the net, dont hang around in the middle because the ball is likely to come at your feet. Nice video though.

if you play tennis in real life then you should know that what you call MIDDLE is actually called Half Court...oh and i play tennis in real life too and you know what ? ...i play in half court just as well as on any other side pf the court...this probably depends on style of play etc etc etc...if you play on half court worse then anywhere else, then it doesnt mean everyone does...so make conclusions my friend

lol if your going to rush the net you dont just stand in the middle, you either commit to it or you stay at the baseline. If your caught standing in the middle then your gonna end up having to half volley it or to play a volley from the service line which is not gonna be anywhere near as effective as a volley from the net.

lets compare now any of nowaday sucessful player...besides maybe only Tsonga who showed that he can still play at all parts of the court amazingly well and control the ball wonder...for example lets take Djokovic or Murray or Nadal whatever...and now compare them to Stefan Edberg, Boris Becker, Pete Sampras etc...see what i mean ? ...those guys could play just AS well in all parts of the court...there wasnt any dificulties for them if oponent tried to cover all angles of the court
