Not to just add another generic thank you, but THANK YOU!! The amount of money you've saved us all is unbelievable. Hopefully they'll get sponsorship on this page so you can at least collect dollars for all of the grateful views. :)
Great Vid but to reset you shouldn't have to open and close the roof. Just lock in the front as shown and then re lock the rear - you will hear it click back in . and that's it. Mine has jammed twice and that's how Audi reset it the first time and I did it the second time.
Thanks so much for this video!!! Same exact thing happened to our 2005 Audi A4 Cabriolet, luckily it happened in our driveway and wasn't stuck somewhere without Youtube... The video is so much more helpful for me than reading a post, I'm a visual learner
I don't know what to say to thank you as much as I possible can in words. You paid forward and if there is "karma" or any good in life I sure do hope and pray to all that is available to you to come back to you 100 thousand fold. What a marvelous thing to do for all of us and so well done. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Peace
Thank you so.............Much, you are a life saver! I was on my way to Audi, Lucky we have a good person like you who saved us alot of money. This works 100% and I've put this link on my facebook and let all my friends know how helpful you are. ^.^
Hi And thak for your video....I've an audi a4 cabrio b7....my problem is on opening the roof...when i push the opening button, the roof open for only 3 cm over windshield but it block in this position....can you write every step of procedure? i'm italian and i can't understand well every step of procedure in spoken english...thanks in advice
@ArcerFidone Not sure if this is the same problem, but it is the only solution I know. Follow the video - you don't need to understand me to get it right.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! It worked!!! My boyfriend called the dealer, they were like, bring it in.......NICE. So I said lets look online. Found your video... Well we tried this once and then the light came on and said soft top not secure, DID IT AGAIN, even though it was a pain in the a**, the second time worked like a champ.... thanks again for sharing and saving us some ca$h!!!!
its long weekend and supposed to be hot!!! your the best!!
What a godsend! You saved me some cash yesterday in your step by step video. My mechanic was just teling me a couple of weeks ago to make sure I went through and got familiar with this process (it even took him three hours to figure out, he said). So when it happened yesterday, I thought for sure I'd have to call him. I tried following the manual, but just wasn't getting it. THEN...I found YOUR VIDEO. I echo what was said above: "God Bless you!" (I was born in Milaca...are you familiar?)
Thank You Very Much Sir for taking the time to make this excellent Video!!!! My sister n law's sister had this problem and had no clue what to do! I said would search the internet and pray I could find something. Again thank you!!!!! God Bless You!!!!
Well done! I was able to fix my top 1st try!

Spooky, got exactly the same as you - but right hand drive - nice to see another black/red combo.
word of caution, as it says in the book, mind your fingers - crushed my thumb after mine jammed on the wife under the rear of the roof! durrr....
