@Jstorm450 - Understood because there are tons of systems out there for our SRT8's and to each their own. There's a guy in our club who has the Zoomer system....too pingy for me and I did not want to spend the $1500 on the system. Enjoy your SLPs
@dejuan71 - if I remember correctly - the Eibach springs only lower the car about an inch and a half. Should still have some room for the exhaust. Just a bit closer that's all.
oh ok...yeah i see that..yeah i actually jacked the car up and stuck it up there its a tight fit length wise but i see where its hanging down some looks similar to my friends bassani catback on his srt...
I just order this for my v6 2.5" but same length i hope its truely the 22" you have on your car because if it dont fit im assed out because i ordered from summit racing.
@dejuan71 - if Magnaflow part number 12599 comes to you - then you ordered the right one. When the exhaust shop installs it for you, tell them the muffler itself will be too long to actually sit where the suitcase muffler was. They installed mine about half in and half out. Keep in mind....as I do everyday - no going over speed bumps anymore. Not worth taking the chance.
@dejuan71 - At the 1 minute 8 second point of the video - you'll see that the muffler itself is not hidden up in the body structure. It actually hangs down just a bit. The half in and half out was in reference to how the muffler is hanging.
@raulurquiza14 - It is 3 inch pipe from the cats.....the stock piping from the cats are 2 3/4 inches....the muffler shop just welded the two pipes together. I've had the system on the car just about a year and no issues at all.
im torn between this and the 18"...i got some borla mufflers as resonators at the end...but im also catless..(v6 by the way). I need something that i can live with for now and be loud enough when i do the 5.7 swap next year...im staying catless though..IDK..didnt think the 22" fit under there. My mind is telling me get the 22" for the v6 but then my heart is telling me get the 18" when the v8 comes LOL.
Aaaaaah then the saw is definitely what I am hearing! Ok : ) Your car sounds GREAT man. I am looking for that same "moderate" idling sound, not too loud on the outside (don't want to wake the neighbors when I start it up) and especially not on the inside. **Until I get on the gas pedal! I have actually been looking at the Magnaflow system for my '06 Charger Rt , with the tru-x dual in/out resonator, with 2 mufflers, your system is a little different, with 1 dual out muffler no reso's.
@geofm2000 - anything Magnaflow will work great....going from a three muffler system to another three muffler system seemed like a waste of money to me. The kits from all the different kind of manufacturers just seem like too much money. What ever you end up installing....enjoy it.
@geofm2000 - the background noise in the video is....it was windy that day so you hear it and my neighbor was using a saw to cut some wood. He was making his own entertainment system.
@dejuan71 - any professional exhaust shop will be able to bend / form the pipes to complete your exhaust system. Just ask around at some car performance shops in your area and I am sure they can recommend someone to complete your exhaust for ya.
@UrDesignatedShooter - where I live...there is no emission testing. I do not see why it would not; I did not remove the cats so there should be no issues with passing. I replaced three mufflers with just one.
@raulurquiza14 - No drone on the highway at all. Just the low rumble of the V-8 is being heard. Above 80 mph the sound of the exhaust gets louder but that is expected.
@raulurquiza14 - there is just a little bit of drone, as they call it, at 2200 RPM. The rest of the time... sounds just like a nice exhaust on a V-8. Not very loud inside at cruising speeds....can not hear it over the radio. Good luck with the install and let me know when you have it done. Give your feedback and post a video.
@Johnny5liter - I have seen how some installed two single flowmaster mufflers which would be a true dual system. Not much room under there which is why I went with the single muffler. Hope you enjoy your 2012 when you get it.
Honestly, I did not check for performance addition....my whole interest was in making the car sound better; and it did just that. Most of what I have read is under 10 ponies for CAI and exhaust.
I jizzed :o

Is it 3 inch pipe from the muffler back?? Or from the cats back??

I just wonder how much of a difference the "2" mufflers vs "1" will make.

@geofm2000 - I am sure there are some videos posted with two mufflers....just didn't want my system to hang that low under the car
