Ricky's story at the first meeting reminded me of George Costanza from Seinfeld at the NBC meeting.."This is the show, and we're NOT gonna change it!"
I can never get over sometimes how intelligent Ricky is. just things like when he said "A satisfied socrates, in a room of fools", you can tell he's a very intelligent person, or atleast thats my oppinion
@theycallhimSQUEE Ricky actually says he's a sort of dissatisfied Socrates in a room full of satisfied fools. That's a reference to a John Stuart Mill (English philosopher) quote: "better to be Socrates dissatisfied than a fool satisfied." - which means it's better to see the truth and be aware of the faults of ourselves and our world even if that's a bit depressing, than to be in happy ignorance, with low standards but thinking everything is fine.
a dissatisfied socrates in a room of satisfied fools?.... or would you prefer to be a or a satisfied fool in a room of dissatisfied socrates's? reference to John Stuart Mill 's Greatest-Happiness Principle - sorry people I just had to look it up as its such a great quote.
i like how matthew perry's background looks very much greenscreened, And how he also compares Tim to Chandler almost immediately hahaha, was he asked to compare or did he just come out with it? not exactly breaking away from the role
@0Feathers0 he may have been asked to say that, or something similar. more telling is the inclusion of one of the more popular characters from one of america's most successful shows, commenting on the office.
@tbase26 i was wondering if those were their respective homes... if so, indeed they are impressive. especially christopher guests' with that massive expanse of green out the window....
@smaakjeks Cheers to you and all the others for posting me an explanation. However, if I could explain to you, I was in fact being sarcastic! Ta anyhow ;)
@Saeleyjnr he actually has a point, that it would be such an easy ride to have a boss like that, just laugh at his jokes play along and your living an easy life :D
Why was Chandler interviewed?

@ivorbigonee No he's not. Mackenzie's lovely, he's just not a showman. And why should he be? He's an actor, not a comic.

@tbase26
Usually, interviews like that don't happen in the actors' and actresses' homes. They tend to happen in studios where a fake living room is set up.
