Yeah, I went there for a year...I had the same issues with the people running the place...i met some awesome people and had lots of fun but i didn't learn jack that would help me get a job...*sigh*
I was born and raised in San Jose. I attended SJJC from 2006-2008. I apologize for your bad experience there. Back then the center was run by Richard Martinez, who I don't believe had the slightest clue about what he was doing. As a result, many "trainees" entered the program with no real intention of learning anything. They just wanted a place to reside, party, and eat for free. The staff was also very unprofessional as well. I'm glad that you have a good job now. Thankfully, I do too!
