Very good interpretation. When someone like Vangelis produces such a good piece as he did, it inspires others to work on the theme and produce there own masterful slant on the original work. This is a necessary process in all human endeavours, especially in art, music and literature.
Good job! I think you managed to give the piece another interpretation without messing it up. I think the bells in the background are not quite well though. "TO MY EAR" they are creating some unnecessary noise which interfere with smooth nice music. Thanks for this.
Dude, this is pretty good, the extra bass definitely increases the listening value over the old one. My suggestion would be to use grittier sounds on the pads/synths something with more texture and depth. Then add in some percussion, but again, timbre is everything, never take a sample at face value.
Although I of course prefer the original, this is quite good and I do enjoy it quite a bit. :) Almost haunting in its rendition. Keep up the good work!
@elitommy747 I don't deserve all your compliments, but thx anyway. I wanted to improve it few weeks ago, but my Fl Studio save lost all my omnisphere presets, so I don't know anymore wich instrument was on specific track. I'll try soon to make something really different in the way it sounds. I won't touch the score again.
WOOOOOOOAH, I love this almost as much as the original, such a cool beat. I also love the little twinkling notes in the back that accompany it. One of the best remixes I've heard, very... well, modern :P
nope. no magic in it.
