@ThunderCavalier Thats where ur wrong mate, Yuan Shao was winning! he crushed Cao's army easily, until Xu You betrayed him and let him up the secret of their Supply base at Wu Chao, where yuan's men were celebrating and getting drunk after the victory.

now that i heard this a 2nd time (yes 2nd including when i played this level(shu story: Guan Du)) I don't think it as bad as i thought, quite the opposite

If guan yu and zhang fei werent betrayed this is the perfect tune for how bad wu would have been beaten at yi ling. Guan yu, liu bei, zhang fei, zhao yun, zhuge liang, ma chao. in one battle would be massacre.

@xStratus Dude..if those two were never betrayed and killed then the battle of Yi Ling would have never occurred. Remember the battle was out of revenge....

@lilchico305csm its not like the wu ever wanted the shu to have land or be around to begin with, maybe not at yi ling but there would have been a battle somewhere between the two. They just happened to be on respectable terms with eachother until said events that lead to Yi Ling thats all it took.

@xStratus Yea they may have had little disputes but their true enemy was Wei because they knew Wei was growing much quicker then they and they knew they needed to work together to bring Wei down......I agree they would have had major battles but that would have been later if they took down Wei and all of the five tiger generals of Shu would have been dead by then......

@lilchico305csm Wei stopped growing, but had intentions of unifying the land, in fact, Shu has campaigned around 15 times in the north, while Wu attacked Hei Fei Twice, and battled wei at Xiang Yang.

@lilchico305csm to let u know lol! u were saying that wei was growing, but it never actually did. Because, once Cao Pi established Wei and proclaimed himself as emperor, Wei mainly focused on defense since they suffered several assaults.
