Oh, did I mention this to you? Get a huge rubbermaid clear container, the kind you store under your bed. The bigger, the better because they like to dig and sit in there. :) My bun loved his and hardly created any mess at all. Hope this helps.
When my bunny got mad at his catpan, (usually because I'd lock him in his room) he'd just tip the whole thing over. What a mess. Btw, are you using clay cat sand? If you are you should get something else, bunnies might eat it and cause some problems.

Ellie has very similiar personality as Lupo's...we all love naughty girls.lol I used wooden pieces which can also used for bedding as Lupo's Lady's...and changed every evening.
My bunny gets to run around on the pool deck all day, and only gets put in her hutch/cage at night, so the door is always open during the day. One of my cats likes to sleep in my bunny cage, where I have some soft towels piled in on end. My bunny won't even step on the towels if they smell like the cat. She knows that's her space! Then the bunny poops on the ground around the cage, to mark it with her scent.
Ellie is going to dig her self a hole and no one is going to tell her otherwise. Did I tell you yet that I had a bunny that same breed when I was young?
