Loved, loved, LOVED this series!!! Did you catch that? Three loves, and I even all capsed the last one. That's a lot of love. Now, admittedly there were a few, "What the hell are they doing?" parts, but they resolved themselves and in the end I was very happy that I got to enjoy this show.

i liked the religious theology (even though I am not very religious) and the political plot lines. The philosophy and prophecy in it is also pretty unique. Caprica Six and Baltar is the best character duo I have seen in the last decade.

Battle Star Galactica is also not down my alley, but the character developments and the political movements (which really get going after season 2) are amazing. have seen a lot of people not really getting emotionally invested in the show... but in the board game. so if you can't get them to enjoy the show, pwn them at the board game. okay, let yourself be pwned by the game.

I have to admit it took me about 3-4 tries to even get through the 1st episode of BSG. I wanted to like it, but when I tried I was like "this sucks". Finally I said to myself "self, we're gonna really give this a good try and get through it". I'm so glad I did, because it ended up being one of my favorite shows ever! :)

I love the design of the Cylons (old and new). Other than that, I just wasn't blown away. Probably because it was over hyped, and it didn't meet up to it. I also feel like it's preaching to me, like dude shut your face about your Gods... and why are robots pushing Jesus on me. I can usually drown out that sort of thing, it was a bit much for me. It is the main focus of the series, a religious war. I'll stick with Doctor Who.

BSG is a really intelligent show. The religious aspects are very interesting. The colonial religion is a polytheistic ancient greek-style, and the Cylons' religion is strictly monotheistic. Still lots of the colonials and also one cylon model are atheist. It's just like the real world. Why would you throw such a predominant aspect of society out?

This was a great series and all around acting. About the story line. If you study Michael Tsarion you will find that Hollywood has a sense of humor that seems to leak some of the truths. Give it a shot and study some history in the past 200,000 years, you might surprise yourself.

Okay, I LOVE BSG. Here are some of the things that really pissed me off though. In the last half of season 4, they wasted way too much time on the mutiny and not enough time on the mythology (same thing LOST did...grrr!). Another thing that pissed me off was that the writers never did ANYTHING with Zack (Zak?) Adama when they CLEARLY should have. Remember when Leoben said "Adama's a cylon"? And what's with Hera coloring "666" on that paper? Not enough explanations were given in this show... :(

I liked the premise of the series but I found that a lot of the drama was somewhat forced; that it was just thrown in to "spice up" an episode. By that I mean that some of the drama could easily have been avoided with 2 lines of conversation or some people not being overly stubborn; I know some characters are supposed to be stubborn but there comes a point where it was a bit silly.
