For me, any member of the Stooges is the greatest: singer, guitarist, bassist, drummer of all times. Everything is amazing and more powerful today than ever.
@TheScottrocks9 separately, I would prefer jim Morrison on vocals and words, Hendrix on guitar , Entwistle on bass and Terry Bozzio on drums ...but these 4 together had a unique sound which is priceless

@molloyzer1 There's a lot of records of extras, like live shows (Metallic KOs) and rehearsals of unrecorded (and damn good) songs like in "More Power".

There is NO band in history that came back on a resurrection tour with the whole band over 50 years old and completely destroyed any and all their old highs and milestones. Rolling stones tried; Smashing Pumpkins tried; coming back is still a risk. There is no band, except the Stooges. Their final world tour ANNIHILATED ALL album sales, followings, records, etc. they EVER HAD, all to a generation who never knew they existed. And they never pushed for real.
