I can't find this version of Frosty The Snowman ANYWHERE on CD. The ones out there with Jimmy Durante does not have this kind of arrangement or the kids singing. this version is the one I grew up with too.

Wonderful xmas show--right up there with Charlie and Rudolph. The animation is not terribly sophisticated but has a charm and naivite--plus all the other elements--Durante, Prof. Hinkel who has some fun campy lines, the charming witty narrative and the good message all combine to create a classic.

I just purchased a Jimmy Durante version of Frosty the snowman on iTunes store but it was not this version. The version I got is Jimmy Durante by he is singing by himself without kids and it has different lyrics. Why isn't this version of the song in the video available on iTunes.

@videogamefan91 same here, though i got a free 7-song copy of a Christmas CD from the blu-ray pack, which includes Santa, Rudolph and Frosty movie. I too was disappointed when I found out the version on the CD wasn't the one from the movie. It is on the US iTunes though, anyhwere between 2 minutes and 34 and 36 seconds is the one you want. Again, anyone with a US itunes account mind gifting me?

Jimmy Durante had a summer home just down the street from us when I was a teenager at Clearlake. There were a few times when he came down to the community pier and told us jokes and stories of Hollywood. He wasnt the greatest singer, but I love to hear his voice. Lets all sing along . . .
