This "me first" attitude actually stinks compared to the "others first", or better yet, "Christ first" attitude. Soo many people don't have a clue what they are missing. the happiest people on earth are those who think least of themselves. I feel sorry for the "me first group". I always end up my unhappiest when I think that way.

@MrWatcher101 I agree. It is such a shame, but people don't believe in community anymore. I myself have been up during the death of society and the growth of 'relative materialism' and seem to have imbued too much of its egocentric value. I think that is probably the problem in the western world, we have run through versions of nearly every system and nothing seems to work, and on a personal level there is no faith that one person can make a difference. Even amongst a small circle of people.
