@blizzytiger You're welcome. Well, its meaning is something like "move" in the expression "make a move on her". The whole deal of the song is about explaining with examples, what a "movida" is. Truth is, we actually don't use that expression in Spanish, it's just meant for the song.

@blizzytiger Hola. It means to like "make a move" or like be sly about something. Make a move on your girlfriend/boyfriend. There are a lot of double meaning (sexual) in this little tune. I lived in Mexico studying when this was playing. Hope that helps a little.

One meaning is "the scene,where the action is",as in the expression : "en la movida" meaning "en la onda, a la moda" (to be with it).It also can mean "an unlawful or bad business" (shenanigans).
