actually its not, its the placement of the motherboard which prevents the fan from working properly, so heat builds up and melts the solder. The PS3 fan is much superior, you hear 360 fanboys say "oohhh look at how much heat comes out, its an oven" you'd rather have that heat outside than frying your motherboard!
