Our present administration did not have enough balls to send in more troops early on. If our military knew in 1999 that 400,000 wouldn't be enough why did they deploy 160,000? One thought is that pulling out now will cause Iran to be sucked into this sectarian violence and deplete their resources. I'm fine with that. I'm also fine with letting the Saudi's and contractors like Halliburton to fend for themselves.

Are you suggesting that our troops remain and have them picked off by IEDs? I care too much for our troops to put them in harm's way for this bullshit war. It's a losing proposition and I don't think the Iraqi's give a shit otherwise they would've enacted reforms. Their government was warned about this and now they need to face the realization that their country will be split up.

I really like this man; he seems to care about the people. I am an X Republican so I watch everything I can on who is running; the democratic ticket is interesting as it has many different people with different ideas running. All the Republicans are pretty much the same, except Ron Paul. I started off Obama, then Hillary, and now Richardson. Who am I kidding? Bush is going to call marshal law and suspend the elections anyway; "we the people" are screwed.

I heard on MSNBC that MOVEON was telling the US Military to give the 42 captured prisoners of Al Qaeda back to Al Qaeda, since the surge is illegal, in MOVEON and Amnesty Internatinals opinion. That is outrageous!
