Both very fun cars either nitro or electric, but I will say that modern day electric RC cars seem to have the advantage over nitro. Batteries and motors have come a long way and these electric Rustlers for example, can do 70+ mph right out of the box with the right battery and gears.

With aluminum parts something has to break, all you doing is moving the problem. Some things still need to be plastic so they can fail, like your a-arms. Besides that, that is what you get for buying a a Traxxas. You look at them wrong and they break.

my ESC keeps on going out, it broke 2X took it to the hobby store, got a new one, use it for 5 minutes, charge batt. use agin for 2 minutes, then broken ESC, I have spent 200 dollars in a month on it

@TSX900 With the latest advances in lipo batteries combines with sick brushless systems, electric is more powerful, hands down. Try strapping a Mamba Monster 2200 system into a 1/8th scale on 6s battery power. Thats way more power than the best .21 engine could put out even on 40% nitro!

lipos are a different kind of cell. they have more punch, last longer, weigh less, and are overall better batteries, but you have to take good care of them because theyre more delicate than nimh or nicd batteries
