I like both, I think both are attractive, I think both are very talented, I'm very happy that Lady Gaga is internationally known, and I'm happy that Gackt is happy where he is. Let's face it, though, most Westerners DON'T KNOW WHO HE IS and probably NEVER WILL. Lots and lots of pop fans in the US aren't interested in who is big in Japan (no pun intended), they just want to listen to music they can dance to and enjoy. And frankly, I don't blame them.

That being said, I really like this mashup.

@Pandas501 Gackt *has* broken through internationally. He is the most popular musical artist in all Asia. He has a HUGE fanbase in the West. His music videos have been played on MTV. You don't hear him on the radio because Americans listening to pop music today can't stand listening to music that isn't in their own language.

I'm not a huge Gaga fan, mostly because I'm not a huge fan of any American pop music. But I do respect her for her success and her songs *are* catchy.

Both Gackt and Lady Gaga write their music, and they also lipsync during concerts sometimes. Your only argument that Gackt's music is "better" is because he has 10+ years experience over Gaga, as he's 13 years older than her. They're both awesome artists in their own right, and comparing them only takes away from both of their accomplishments.
