@CuntrySongAndMegaman HA! I can respond to my own comment!! But I can't tell myself the answer, unless my alter ego is some all-knowing being, and I'm the down-syndrome Donnie of the 2 chilld household.....
Never played it, actually! But I just looked it up, and it's more the music than the image that bothers me. Skulls are common enough that they've sorta lost their creepy edge.
@GCDotNet Oh, crap. I meant the ST version of Uninvited. My bad. That was pretty gross in itself. But the ST Deja Vu one's music did actually bother me as well. The image was kind of unsettling for me but it wasn't too bad.
Someday, when I'm a little more caught up with my Mega Man videos and have the time, I hope to do Deja Vu II. Don't wait around or anything, but it's definitely on the radar.
Wait, where exactly can you find the windows version for Deja vu 2? I've looked everywhere, can only find DOS. Don't want the dos version, the graphics are just horrible and hard to distinguish items.
You can find the NES version for cheap on eBay, but aside from that, any abandonware site is likely to have the Windows version for free--I imagine it would be very difficult to find a new or used copy to buy.
Well, Michael took the GBC version, and Paul took the NES version, so I figured I'd do the Windows version for the sake of comparison. Hey, I had fun.
Neat! Aw, I'm honored. I've got a few more playthroughs on this channel--check out the Flash Flood playlist, and take a peek at the later Super Mario Bros. 2 videos. I've also got a channel strictly for Mega Man, which is GeminiLaser. Look me up!
Where can I find this? I was able to find a place where I could download Shadowgate for Windows, but I can't dind either of the Deja Vu games OR Uninvited. Could someone help me out?
Can I find this game anywhere compatible for Windows 7? I found XP, but not 7.

In regards to the comment you made at 9:19, what do you think of the Atari ST version's dead screen.

@GCDotNet - Nathaniel, do you plan on playing through Deja Vu II? My life would be complete if you did :)

@GCDotNet Awesome :) I'm probably going to play through the Apple IIGS version of Deja Vu since I just got an Apple IIGS emulator working.
Doommaster1994 8 months ago
Cool. Wonder if there are any other major differences?
GCDotNet 8 months ago
@GCDotNet It actually looks exactly the same as the Amiga version. I'm gonna do a playthrough of it soon.

@biagiotti2006 You have to download the first one for Windows, then it will ask if you want to install the second game with it.

@turloughf I got the Windows version for free. PM me if you're interested because I can't post links on videos.

I'm surprised you're playing the Windows version especially when the computer versions doesn't have any music at all dude.

Look at the people under "Interface Design" in the credits: Todd Squires and Jay Zipnick. The specimen jar says "Todd Zipman".
On a different note, who thinks Nathaniel should play through the sequel on Windows? That would be entertaining!
ArmedtotheTeethProd 1 year ago
Ha! Nice catch.
I considered playing Deja Vu II... maybe I'll try it out some time.

Nate, do you have any other playthroughs on YouTube? You are a very funny player. My Deja Vu Amiga playthrough was inspired by you.

@GCDotNet Thanks! I'll check them out. You know, I don't think I told you this before but you sound like Lazlow from the GTA games. That's awesome.
Doommaster1994 1 year ago
Really? I'll have to look into that some time; I only briefly played GTA.
GCDotNet 1 year ago
Yeah. I don't think I told you this either but you inspired me to do a playthrough of Deja Vu II for Windows and Shadowgate for the Amiga.
Doommaster1994 1 year ago
Awesome! Glad to be a (hopefully positive) influence!

You were. I saw the SMB2 playthrough that was awesome. Wish I could have done a playthrough like that with someone.

Hm. I always thought running into the alligator meant automatic death. Maybe I'll try the gun some time.
GCDotNet 2 years ago
I think you can shoot the alligator and survive. Just make sure the gun is loaded. ;)
IDarkPaladinI 1 year ago
Can't tell you how many adventure games have claimed the lives of the player because of that whole "guns don't load themselves" thing.
