Most boot manufacturers (the quality ones like Bont, Simmons (Shankel)) request a foot outline in pencil on paper to properly match up your feet. From there, the boot fits well enough before heat forming to your feet. I hear the good quality Bonts are really great feeling after heat forming.
Im thinking about getting some budget speed skates, and Im just wondering, how bad is it when you don't get them custom fit and just go by your shoe size? Would it be better or worse than those cheap, full boot skates, in terms of comfort?
