Del also did some work with Gorillaz, but didn't do the whole album. Deltron 3030 (Del, Dan Nakamura and Kid Koala) all had a lot to do on the Gorillaz albums.

Del started out as Del the Funky Homosapien/ Del Tha Funkee Homosapien and so on...he's done collaborations as far as i know under Deltron 3030 with Kid Koala and Dan the Automator...he was featured on two songs from Gorillaz (Clint Eastwood and Rock the House) and he was also featured on Handsome Boy Modeling School...

He was part of the Heiroglyphics crew..and last i heard he's split with them..but..who knows

no im pretty sure you dont know what your talking about, Del never called himself De La Soul. He did the Deltron 3030 album and work with the Gorillaz but he also went as Del The Funky Homosapien and his group was Hiroglyphics

I did a wikipedia search on Del tha Funky Homosapien from Deltron 3030, and he was the fictional ghost that possessed Gorillaz drummer Russel. When he did the songs with Gorillaz, I believe he went under the name De La Soul.
