Very nice! I was concerned about your hands being down to catch the kick, but when you implement it in full speed, you pull it off nicely. If the kick were lower, I wouldn't grab it though. I would use my legs to defend against it.
I train in Krav Maga and the techniques are very similar. This guy is a seriously good instructor and teacher. You can tell, because the information is so easily absorbed.
A guy on the street is usually going to throw the kick to kick you, not to fake low then go high.Big difference between someone point sparring you with a flip kick & a real attacker that wants to kill.True, the attacker could fake low & go high but thats why you should ALWAYS keep your hands up between the arm movements. When attacker is actually has intent to hurt you, they tend to telegraph there kick more, makin it much easier to pull this off.You can what if any technique to death
2 years Traditional arts during which I was exposed to basics of Ninjutsu,Judo,Kung Fu,Kempo,Akido,TKD & various other arts.I was the last person to receive a black belt in RBWI (Robert Bussey's Warrior International). I hold a black belt advanced instructor status in RBWI. 13 years of trainin & instructing in Robert Bussey's organization now know as Bussey Combatives.I've trained MMA for a year with amateur& pro-fighters.Wraped hands and cornered 5 pro MMA fights & now also train some Jujitsu.
Bussey has been developing a real-world, non-sport system for the last several years. We'll be posting more as we're able to shoot and edit them. Thanks for your compliments!
Pretty good but you can avoid using the first hand movement and go straight to turning him and have (in this case your L hand) the other hand close to your face against punches or grabs....a little risky to drop both hands!
