Actual model DIESELS are almost unheard of. This is an actual air-blast injection diesel engine, complete with air pump and injectors.

The model is not a Diesel engine. It has spark plugs (disguised under the injectors, self made).
The original was not an air blast engine. See Lyle Cummin's book "Diesel's engine" page 417 .. 420
