  • ariel pink totally jacked the chorus for round and round from this tune

  • Love this song and love, love, the band..such energy and style!

  • I was a student a the time and could hear this crap from my house in Dennistoun.

  • was at this gig! 250000 strong back in 1990?

  • @cazwales I didn't attend (watched it live on Channel 4 if my memory serves me). Yeah the crowd was huge (even for Glasgow Green standards).

  • @cazwales Doh! Just remembered, it was a free gig, no wonder the crowd was so big, ha ha.

  • @TheDarkVillager you missed my point, i said he sings with an accent, i never said they were american, you plonker!

  • I was there in 1990 for the Big Day, I was 14. They were on last after Big Country and, ahem, Sheena Easton who got deserved pelters. And FUCK ME! I'll never forget it it the whole of Glasgow bouncin' up and down. Neds, Mums, Dads, Weans, 200 thousands souls...all for free. City of Culture indeed.

  • right fair enough theyre an awesome band and im a fan but why the fxxk they sound american?i haste that accent pish, look at the proclaimers, funny as they might sound...at least their not kidding anyone.especially themselves!

i never heard a scot who spoke with rickys singing accent lol

  • glad i wasnt the only 1 who fancied her, she was and still is a fine looking woman!

  • Love Deacon Blue and for me this is there best song!

  • never realised how fit he is

  • If you like Deacon Blue, try searching DEAD LIKE HARRY - WHEN WE WERE 17 for a new band you might like.

  • we were all pissed adamski never showed, but deacon blue were fukin immense, especially the antio thatcher rant, got the place rockin. tears erupted when dignity started. never forget it it was 5 days before i passed my driving test.

  • dundee united

    ricky legend mate

  • @TangerineArmy86 mon the arabs

  • @yulaw3 A shed boy thro and thro!!

  • Undoubtedly one of the greatest bands of the Eighties, often under rated. The thing I love about Deacon Blue is that they were a band who knew where they were from and weren't that interested in celebrity. Don't care what anyone says about the late eighties - this stuff sounds better 20 years on!!

  • just fukin gr8 band, come play liverpool arena soon guys

  • They are comming to Liverpool in August 09. I have already got my tickets

  • Me too :)

  • are you kidding guys? Love? COME ON

  • a fantastic and underated bass player is Ewan

  • Deacon Blue always seemed to be like... the Glasgow U2, in my opinion anyways.

  • was at the concert ..easily 250,000 people there that night

  • the best band to be named after a Steely Dan song

  • LUV IT!! LUV IT!! LUV IT!!

  • GREAT,CHEERS

  • GREAT....CHEERS
