  • Great job! I wish there were more videos on youtube of people playing stuff from the original tron film. My only critique would be the timing. You're using 4/4, right? I'm pretty sure the original is in 7/4. You may have done it on purpose, idk. It's still good though. :)

  • @Olafty I do too, too much Legacy covers. I hate Legacy!

  • Greetings programs!!!

  • Tabs?

  • That translates surprisingly well to acoustic guitar. Reminds me a little of Ennio Morricone.

    Strong work.

  • End of line.

  • AHHH!! users users users!!! [de-rezzes]

  • @ralphredimix Ram... ;-;

  • You sir deserve more views!

It this the actual main theme? I can't tell which is which because I just saw the movie today and they have a bunch of themes in that movie. =P

Anyway, you have created beautiful rendition!

  • You're playing my song. :) *sniff*

  • No bad. Chords are a little bright though. the actual theme is darker. You have too many major chords

  • One of my most beloved tunes of all time. Fantastic!

  • RE-RES RAM!!!

  • ram was an awesome guy in the movie

too bad he died so quicklie

  • Cool cover of a strange and interesting musical arrangement! Nice!

  • What what what... I remember asking this before.. but is that my Cort Acoustic?

  • nope it's my uncle's guitar. nice huh?

  • U need some reverb on the picking parts to make it sound MORE COMPUTER-EY!!!

  • dude, its an acoustic guitar why add reverb to an acousstic, or any effects for that matter?

  • BECAUSE THE MCP TELL U TO FOOL

  • MCP Ain't got shit compared to a USER, A USER even wrote you.....

  • OH, MY USER!! Users, users, users...

  • I love tron

  • Your a-string is tuned a bit flat. Your d-string is spot on. When you switch from the E to A string, you can hear it, and you can REALLY hear it going from the A string to the D string.

The timbre is a bit punchy. Would be nice to hear it a bit more mellow sounding.

BUT, all in all I enjoyed it a lot :). The above is just my technical critique which may or may not be accurate ;).

Thanks for posting such a unique video!!

  • Nice.

  • Very excellent.

  • Yes, it sounds like the theme from a Spaghetti Western. Nice work!

  • Nice twice on the film track. It almost sounds appropriate for a western.

  • LOL! Well done. I guess if you can make synth versions of guitar based melodies you can make guitar versions of synth based songs...

  • Very nice ^^
