I don't know why every one thinks this is harmful. It's only teasing if the dragon hasn't been fed in days and that finger is his hope of a meal, which is highly unlikely... Lizards need stimulation and a break from the boredom of every day caged life. Nothing wrong with mentally stimulating him.
how old did he get i bought mine 2006 and he died 3 days ago when i bought him he was fully grown so he maybe was 6 or 7 did he die by age as i was never perfect in giving him enough calcium it would feel so good if i knew he died by age asi miss him so much
@tomsterst I don't remember which one it is, but reptile carpet is the standard flooring for a bearded dragon. Some people think that sand and such can be used, but that can cause digestive problems if accidentally swallowed. Reptile carpet or custom tile flooring is the way to go! :-)

@animals4lfe I got him off of Craigslist, I believe. The person was moving out of state and unable to take him. A lot of pet stores have baby bearded dragons. With *PROPER* care, they can grow up to be active and playful beardies.
How so? He never got hurt and we fed him afterwards. It's like holding out a treat for a cat or dog. Also, we fed him a proper diet for a dragon his age -- unlike many others we have seen on YouTube.

you can get sand that is edible for beaded dragons and it wont cause digestive problems if digested
