I read that Abu Dhabi's rigg is from a different maker, but I have no information whether the other boats' riggs are identical with any of both. Good luck anyway to PUMA and the other boats! Especially to Michi Muller from Germany!

i don't think rigging is flawed. i believe that these boats are extremely lightly engineered so that they can do things like break the 24 hour record. it's a balance between being unbreakable and performing

Looks like the boats, when launched of a wave, generates forces current masts seem to handle badly. Flat bottom, wide beam. Exciting race! Good luck Puma!

Abu Dhabi's mast broke too. It makes you wonder if there is a flaw in the rigging design. i know im not one to judge considering all the genius collage grads who worked on the design, but there's a pattern now and other teams should be careful.
