I don't think enough people gave INNW enough time. Even at the concert to promote the album, I was the only person close to me singing the new songs (of course, I was blazzed out of mind)! But seriously, I know tons of people that didn't appreciate Light Grenades till they listened to it a few times. That's the magic of Incubus! It might sound different, but give it enough listens, and you will hear the Incubus YOU know inside of the new sound!

They never said it was an experiment. Here's a quote from Mike on the Wikipedia article for this album: "I think we took a risk by making this type of album. But it's not some crazy, experimental album." Sorry if I come across as condescending, but it's just the facts. From the way they talk about this album, I wouldn't be surprised if we see more of the same stuff in the future. And honestly, that's fine with me, because I love the album (but that's just my opinion).
