  • Looks good! I had my bunions done on each foot (chevron osteotomy). Separate times. BUT my left foot was done at the same time as my Brachymetatarsia Correction surgery (VIDEOS ON MY CHANNEL). It was a lot for one foot. (I'm so glad I only had that bone disorder on one.) Your 1st metatarsals sure do look straighter than mine though. ;o) Thanks for the update!

  • I have had my left foot done 2 weeks ago, and I'm afraid to stand on it! I haven't see it jet as well... Hence , your feedback really helps ;) Thanks.

  • Foot looks good. I couldnt have waited to do each foot 3 years apart - I'm too impatient and always want it now. What a difference it makes tho eh? I've had both bunions and tailor's bunions done within a year. The tailor's healing process has been difficult but I'd do it all again. Have to get the wire in my big toe removed on Wednesday (as its moved and its very painful) - after that it should be plain sailing.

  • Screws!! Thats to scary for me. Not to mention metal detectors might beep

  • Hi~

I am 3 1/2 wks post op for Lapidus bunionectomies on both feet at the same time. I also have screws (2 in each foot...base of the big toe jt). Dr. says bone fusion won't take place until minimum six wks.... I can do some walking on my heels but no pressure on the mid foot or front of the foot until fusion takes place.

How is your pain?? Also, are you walking??
