After seeing the above documentary, i couldn't help but feel sorry for the boat people. They are running away from communist ideology to a country they tought was a safe haven and was an ally but they were wronged. The dead will have to accept the fate that they are at the wrong place at the wrong time. My sympathy to the victims and the survivors. having been shot in Malaysia, but God only knows how many were killed by Thai pirates or

perished underway due to bad weather. I

Germany and Norway had ships roaming around looking for refugees, but none from USA.

Malaysia had been trying to have US and their allies assume responsibility for the flow of refugees their war was causing.

When their pleas fell for deaf ears, they threatened to drive the refugees back to sea unless other countries shared the burden.

And this very moment they are at it again creating refugees (and corpses), this time in Iraq and Afghanistan.
