@VidMasterZ you know that guy that teaches link the special attacks... that's shade. if you follow the zelda timeline, the game before this one is believed to be majora's mask. and the golden wolf is shade, and he teaches link the song of healing (or howl rather) so it gives a hint that shade may be the link from majora's mask and the tp link may be his son.

@akeldama931 now that the legend of zelda skyward sword is announced i think the hero of shade is that link because the golden wolf is always high in the sky. And that link also losses an eye.

This is my personal favorite of all the howling songs. They all have this weary yet beautiful sound to them. I loved the TP howling songs.

To XHereToCommentX: Maybe it's because the song is the Song of Healing from Majora's Mask. Some fans believe that this was done because the Hero's Spirit had regrets about not teaching these masterful skills when he was alive and wants to heal his soul (just like all who are about to die in Majora's Mask).

Yes, you eventually get the power to transform into a wolf whenever you want. Just be sure to do them in the right order.
