Just put the 294(th) mile on my new Victory Highball. I’ve been riding in the cold weather. But I don’t care because riding the Highball is the coolest experience ever! I want to get this bike broke in and ready to rock by spring. That shouldn’t be hard. I rode by the Victory Tour last year, and I rode every model Victory makes. My last spin was on the Highball. Harley vs Victory Con't.
5. Ride - Victory wins. Much smoother than the HD. More comfortable than the HD as well.
6. Handling - Harley wins. I think the smaller front tire on the Victory has something to do with it. At high speeds, the Harley is easier to control.
7. Reliability - Victory wins. Harley has so many gaskets, leaks are common. Also, a bike w/chain drive needs more attention. Victory bikes are cheaper to maintain as well.
8. Braking - Tie, both have crappy front brakes!!

1. Design & paint - Victory wins! HD needs to update their look.
2. Basic Warranty - Tie, both are 2 years
3. Sound - Harley wins hands down! The victory sounds like my lawn trimmer!
4. Price - Harley wins only because Victory doesn't have the HD reputation and hasn't earned the right (yet) to over price their bikes like they are. Plus, Harley doesn't have nearly as many plastic parts as Victory does. This makes the Victory bikes seem cheap, like a Yamaha or Honda.

I remember this ad. It was the first time I heard of Victory Motorcycles. This ad was on Direct TV 24/7. There was a channel dedicated to this ad and the 2011 ad is currently playing on channel 111(Direct TV) highlighting the Highball.
