Havent checked for clearance but im fairly sure that its the same deal with the SCUT kits on a 160... because of the longer stroke the piston hangs out the bore.

na go 4 the yx 160 fully gas flowed with vm 26 mm carb bring out 15.2 on dyno run thats wot i have and i shit my self it wheelies in every gear proper monster

Gas flowed head isnt the right way for the big bores :)

im thinking more now of the 160 v2 or even 150 v2 ive been told that i will get a faster rev and faster bottom and mid becouse of the smaller stroke it wont get the hp of the 170 but. but thats wat i want a more aggresive bottom and mid?

NO. the big "bore" kits arnt stroker kits. the 170v2 is a 150 with a big bore kit on it :)

and FYI the more stroke it has, the more bottom it will have :)

mate u can get them cheaper than that :)

just listen to mine... it sounds like a 450 lol. mine has a 32mm-45mm pipe on it though, and the porting on it changes the sound, but yeah a 170v2 will rock out with about 18rwhp with a good 28mm carby and a good zorst.

so your saying the lifan will rev qwicker than the 170? i have the daytona copy with the outer roter kit not the old 1. i want somthing with a killer bottom and mid?

no the 170 will rev out further, but it will have more on the bottom and mid.

id suggest getting a TBv2 head for it too at some stage, there down to like 300 bucks now :)

so your 1 has the roller rocker head? cuz igot the lifan 150 im not really happy with it so i was going to get the gpx 150 and the tb 171 kit i thought it would have a better bottom and mid then the lifan 150?

yea mines got the trialbikes V2 head, and a takagawa S35 cam.

the 170 will piss all over the lifan, as the lifan uses the old stud spacing too (same as old lifans and jialings) means u have the shorter stroke, and will rev out much better

yeah it would be alot faster, but a TBv2 or takegawa +r would be faster... just not as much down low.

i usually ride out at blackduck when i get a chance, or out the back of moggil.
