@amerikaiscommunist on a 12.... might be a bit heavy... add pods or a float deck and it should rock.. Iam going for power to weight with mine... my new one has a few performance mods.. should be closer to 8hp now.. and 10 by spring with the new head.

hey I just spotted this video.it moves along pretty good but I thought you were goin out da boat as you passed the camera LOL!! you put a 16 tooth sprocket top and bottom right.on my thirty I put 6 teeth smaller on the bottom to speed up the prop slightly Im thinking I have enough torque to push it that way.and my prop isnt as large as the factory 12.25x10 mine is 11x10 so when I test it I will know for sure.worst case I will swap top to bottom and run it like most of the factory units.
what hp is that motor?
